Regretfully I too was scammed by Derbie Roberts. He contacted me back in Jan. we corresponded for a while until I received a check from him last week. I have been in such a bind for the past few months and need surgery my insurance wouldn't cover. He seemed so legit and caring, but not the case. in response to...the check he sent to me was for 3800 also. I also was supposed to send the rest via money gram to a pat person. The address on the outside of the ups envelope was from some lady in california, I thought Mr. Yanti was from Ohio. I hope he doesn't hurt anyone else.... see full post

What NOT to do on Aidpage Do NOT post your email address or your street address on your public aidpages if you don't want to get a lot of spam and fraudulent offers in your mail. People can contact you through messages here on Aidpage. Why is it safer to use Aidpage messages? Because spammers and scammers would have to register on Aidpage in order to communicate with you - and they normally don't... see full post

I agree with all these responses. He sent me a check that was for a large sum and wanted me to take out part and money gram the rest to someone else. I just wish people would understand how much that hurts those of us that are really trying but finding it hard to make things work. I know most of these people find it funny to lie and scam hard working caring individuals. Just remember what goes... see full post

in response to...I too was scammed by Sean Yanti this year at Christmas. He said he would send a check to help me and my kiddos and all he sent was a fake cashiers check. I sent an email back and told him he was a fake and a scammer. I know he wouldn't care, but I felt better venting to him.
